Far, far away in a green, beautiful jungle, there lived an old lion.
He was once the mighty king of the jungle — strong, fast, and feared by everyone.
But now, age had made him weak. Hunting was no longer easy for him.
One hot day, the hungry and tired lion wandered deep into the jungle.
After a while, he found a small cave.

Lion (tired):
“Hmm… looks like some animal lives here.
If I hide inside, maybe I’ll get my meal when it comes back!”
He smiled slyly and slowly crept inside the cave.
It was cool and dark inside, so the lion lay down to rest.

After some time, a clever jackal came walking by.
He noticed something strange — there were footprints going into the cave, rbut none coming out!
Jackal (thinking):
“Huh… that’s suspicious! Something’s definitely hiding inside.”
Then he called out loudly —
Jackal (shouting):
“Hey cave! Shall I come in today? You always talk to me first!”
The lion inside heard this.
Lion (thinking):
“Oh wow! A talking cave!
If I don’t reply, the animal might run away. I must say something!”
Then the lion roared in a deep voice —
Lion: “Yes, yes! Come in, my friend. It’s safe today!”
Jackal (smirking):
The jackal laughed “Oh really? So now the cave talks in a deep lion voice? That’s new!”

He giggled and ran away as fast as he could.
From far away, he shouted —
Jackal (calling out):
“Nice try, Mr. Lion! But no one’s smarter than me in this jungle!”
The lion roared angrily, but the clever jackal had already vanished.
