In a lush green forest, there lived a clever fox 🦊 and a naive goat 🐐. The goat was very simple and gentle by nature, but sometimes she made decisions without thinking carefully. The fox, on the other hand, was very smart and always knew how to take advantage of a situation.
One day, the fox was wandering through the forest in search of food. Suddenly, she slipped and fell into a deep well. The well was very deep. The fox tried her best to climb out, but she could not succeed. Worried and tired, she began thinking of a way to escape.
After a while, a goat came to the well to drink water. She looked inside and saw the fox at the bottom.
Surprised, the goat asked,
“Hey Fox, what are you doing down there? Is everything okay?”
The fox quickly replied in a clever tone,
“Oh dear Goat! This well has the sweetest and coolest water in the entire forest. I came down here especially to drink this refreshing water. It’s much better than the water outside. You should come down and try it too!”
The goat was very thirsty. Without thinking much, she trusted the fox and jumped into the well. She drank the water, but after a few moments, she started to worry.
Then the goat asked,
“How will we get out now?”
The fox smiled and said,
“Don’t worry. Just stand near the wall. I will climb onto your back and jump out. Once I’m out, I’ll find a way to help you.”
The innocent goat agreed. The fox quickly climbed onto her back and jumped out of the well. As soon as she reached the top, she ran away without stopping.
From inside the well, the goat shouted,
“Hey Fox! Please help me get out!”
The fox turned back and said,
“If you had thought about how to get out before jumping in, you wouldn’t be in trouble now.”
With that, the fox disappeared into the forest. The goat realized her mistake and promised herself that she would never make a decision without thinking again.
