In a dense forest, among tall, towering trees, lived a clever crow and a fun‑loving rabbit.
Crow (flying): “Caw–caw! The sun is up! Today too, we must gather grains from the forest.”
Rabbit (hopping): “Hey friend! Why so early? The forest is huge—food will be found anyway!”
Every day, the crow flew far and wide, searched for fruits and grains, and stored them safely.
Crow: “Rabbit, work a little. You never know when the forest weather might change.”
Rabbit (laughing): “Oh, crow brother! Fun today—tomorrow we’ll see!”
Days passed. The crow kept working hard, while the rabbit kept playing and hopping around.
Rabbit (happily): “Green grass, open forest—wow! Life is so much fun!”
One day, thick black clouds suddenly covered the sky. Strong winds began to blow.
Rabbit (scared): “Hey! Why are these clouds rumbling so loudly?”
Crow (calmly): “This is the day I was preparing for.”
Heavy rain began and continued for many days. Finding food in the forest became difficult.
Rabbit (holding his stomach): “Oh no… now there isn’t even grass to eat!”
Hungry and tired, the rabbit reached the crow’s tree.
Rabbit (embarrassed): “Crow brother… I didn’t listen to you. May I have a little food?”
Crow (smiling): “Understanding your mistake is true wisdom.”
The crow shared his stored food. The rabbit ate happily.
Rabbit: “Today I learned… working hard at the right time is very important.”
Crow: “Exactly! Those who work hard are the ones who smile during difficult times.”
